It can be a challenge getting those flat packs home on the train. I remember when I lived in London seeing someone on a Tube station escalator with flat pack furniture.

Thanks David. After looking at it I get the impression that I can turn off almost all commands and just use the handful that I need.

I used to have monthly meetings with James. Looking at the picture, I'd say that despite the money, he has aged much worse than me.

We had the big Watney's cans and something called Jackpot seven. Presumably 7 pints. I lived in a village where it was easiest for to get flagons of cider, although a lot of homes, including mine and both next door neighbours brewed beer, cider and made things like, shudder, parsnip wine.

Round my way when I was a teenager, it was half a pint of Guinness and half a pint of cider. Guaranteed to induce vomiting and violent hangover. I don't think I did it more than once. But I know people who did.

Yes I think she came from that part of the country.

Tangentially related:

At uni I briefly had a girlfriend who drank Guinness with a splash of blackcurrant juice… apparently this is a thing in some parts of northern England. I tried a taste and decided we could have no future together.

Blackcurrant?

If the Finnish right is like the right in English speaking countries, then the cruelty is the point.
