3. A minor thing, but why no advance notice? Local community boards send weekly (or more) emails about milling and paving streets, which are still usable when they're milled.

2. What's the rationalization for what greenways get rebuilt? The rest of Ocean Parkway, and the Jamaica Bay Greenway by East New York are in much, much worse shape than Owl's Head was.

1. Why is this reconstruction so speedy compared to the rebuild of six blocks of the Ocean Parkway Greenway, which took 1.5 years? Will NYC Parks redo the rest of Ocean Parkway this fast or nah?

The next mayor should also do something about the ongoing, construction-related erasure of the bike lane on Fourth Ave.
