I have no idea... it appears he may have been smart enough at one time - but intellect requires constant work to maintain it - he may have been smart in 1999, but much like being in shape to run a marathon, if you don't keep training, you lose it.

Hegseth has a masters degree from Yale - if ever there was proof that DEI was necessary, this is it. He stopped learning when he graduated & whatever he had learned has been destroyed by excessive drinking, arrogance and likely some concussions along the way.

If they wanted to keep all the sordid Trump / GOP / Epstein details secret, they needed fewer people to see the files - but there are a lot who have seen them, so I don't know how, but the info will come out one way or another.

Along with the Medicare thing, he recently argued that Congress people should be able to trade stocks while in office - even though they also receive news that would impact the stock market before anyone else does. It's a different kind of "off government" income... actually it's worse.
