Wow!... from the Rondo Energy website... "Thousands of tons of brick are heated directly by this thermal radiation, and store energy for hours or days with very low loss (less than 1% per day).

That's right... "thousands of tons"!

Not long before we see geo-fencing of electric vehicles and EVs being switched off because of late or unpaid tax.

Fast forward... the energy transition is completed... extreme weather events continue and your still saying climate change is real.

The Albanese government is between a rock and a hard place.
The 'rock' Bowen ramps up climate policies and Labor will be voted out at the next election.
Or, 'hard place' Albo keeps his foot on the brake, they miss by a huge margin and Labor get voted out at the next election.

The new EV duty - arriving in 2028 - is less than a third of that... for now.
Ever heard the saying... "tip of the iceberg"

A portion of the population what to divide this country and that's despicable.

They say that a digital twin is a dynamic, virtual representation of a real-world object, system, or process that is constantly updated with live data from its physical counterpart.
Actually, a digital twin is a tool that technocrats will use to pretend that they can measure and manage everything.

More taxpayer funds squandered on ridiculous scams that will have no impact on the climate whatsoever .
November 28, 2025 at 2:33 AM
If it was good value for money then you wouldn't have to waste taxpayer funds on public procurement.
November 28, 2025 at 2:20 AM
When will you be unveiling the next windmill project... nothing announced so far this year?
Getting on with the job but not meeting targets will cost us dearly in the long run.

Moving gas power stations into a strategic reserve is a guaranteed trigger for power outages and economic collapse.

More "trust the experts" nonsense.

Hold that thought when you open you next energy bill.

I look at that chart and see thriving crops, food abundance and the end of the global hunger crisis.
Climate cultists look at the chart and see dead people.

UK should have invested more in oil and gas exploration and development to avoid the oil and gas shocks... lesson learned.

The fossil fuel industry has historically been a net contributor to the economy through exports, job creation, and taxes.
Subsidies paid to the renewables industry is mostly pocked by foreign investor while Australian taxpayers are lumbered with higher energy bills.

Invoking the 'wartime mobilization' narrative has been around for a long time in the climate change debate but seems to be getting another run recently as a popular talking point.
November 27, 2025 at 9:33 PM
No one gets to control the global thermostat because there is no global thermostat and human activity has a minimal impact on the weather.
The demagogues who with try to convince you otherwise are more interested in money and control than they are in weather patterns.

The only technical disadvantage of V2G operation is the battery degradation due to the high number of charge/discharge cycles.
November 27, 2025 at 5:08 AM
Ridiculous!
More expensive storage that provides a limited amount of power for short time periods.
More EVs that people can't drive when they need to drive if the battery is otherwise occupied.
More flexible load... No thanks! Peoples lives should not be constrained by an inadequate energy system
