Whenever I have too much acrylic paint left over, I color in pages in my sketchbook. And this time I really liked the sketch, so I developed it further. It's basically always the same thing, but it's simply my go-to subject.

I finally finished the painting and I’m really happy with the result. I hope my bestie will be excited to find the two of them under the Christmas tree.

I haven’t painted with colors in a long time. It’s probably not a good idea to start again with such a big painting — especially since it’s supposed to be a Christmas present. Wish me luck, the ugly phase starts now.
