Very encouraging to see a renewed focus on listening, and collaboration - would be great to see the community and developers working together to deliver this.

The report itself says "only a quarter (25 percent) of Britons find the idea of moving to a new town appealing ..." (rest are DK)
1 in 4 being at least open to the idea in some way is not a bad starting point but it does also flag challenges when a large % say unappealing.

They were warned but dismissed concerns as 'scaremongering' and closed down scrutiny.
In 2019/20 there were 150 consultants + 50 council staff working on Meridian Water.
Commitments to publish the masterplan for consultation were broken.
Those who led the borough into this mess have left.
