i grew up in the usa & have family there so i make calls every election cycle to do my tiny part to try to help make life better esp. for my under/uninsured loved ones. but yes- it's really scary. i've lived in the uk since 2004. things are scary here too, but not like there. sending you strength! 💐

wow, i am so sorry. 💔 i don't live in the states anymore, but even here in the uk with the NHS, people still struggle with the cost of eldercare and the lack of options. but we are still very, very fortunate here & i'm thankful for the NHS every single day #healthcareisahumanright #protecttheNHS

The book The Warmth of Other Suns was very helpful to me in understanding the drawbridge phenomenon. Strongly recommend-- long, but very valuable read
