This is bleak, but people are in motion. As of 6 o'clock this fine evening, a third of the people i know locally are up on overpasses with rush hour signs and a third are folding whistle code zines and the remaining folks are at a huge rally outside the main detention center.

You can skip the Combray. I have it tattooed on my person, and I also believe it extends to the villain origin stories of all persons who weaponize incompetence.

I just spent the day leading a zine folding. We folded 2000 of @meganpiont.bsky.social 's "We Marched; Now What?" zines to give out at No Kings. Find an event near you, and then pick a next step from the zine.

I didn't know what to do with my tired/wired energy -- Tuesday is my 9-hour teaching day and the dictatorship news was what it was -- so I manically printed and folded 50 of @meganpiont.bsky.social 's How to Report ICE zines to give out on the BQE tomorrow. And now I am calm enough to sleep
