When I've been with friends I will say my announcement live in unison with the recording so they can hear it in stereo. 😄

Since I don’t want to steal credit from my friend Charlie Pellett, I do want to point out that he is the one that says “Stand clear of the closing doors, please.” I’m the voice that you were hear in the numbered line stations telling you how long before your train arrives.

I continue to work on my voice and feel that it sounds more feminine now than it did when this was recorded. I still use the “guy voice“ as needed. When I do public speaking engagements, I will make an announcement in the old voice, and it always gets a great reaction from the crowd.

No apology necessary, Kacey. My name (which is my real name) has made it more memorable. It's German and spelled like wagen in Volkswagen, with an "e" instead of an "o."
