Had a lovely couple of hours in Highgate Wood this afternoon #foraging for mushrooms.

Beautiful weather, found some hen-of-the-woods and some big beefsteak mushrooms - and saw (but obvs did NOT pick) some very pretty fly agarics.

Been making this sandwich quite often recently. Never used to like green peppers in big chunks (found them bitter), but as part of a peppers & eggs roll, very nice indeed.

Prefer a sub roll, but the baguette was still great.

On how AI & self-published authors - @michaelrmiller.bsky.social: The market is already flooded, so unlikely to affect in that way. Audiobook narration may have a problem though.

About book-selling algorithms: @michaelrmiller.bsky.social says "Don't market your books to people who don't read that genre, as it will mess with the algorithm"..."Algorithms are there to sell, so you have to convince them your book will sell."
