Shot by the maestro Vittorio Storaro no less. I love the way the colour moves and changes in scenes. The big translite backdrops are a great idea. Brilliant in Goya en Burdeos, but not sure they worked out in Dune, bit rough & early photoshop looking, but I dig the theatrical style.

Same here. I remember waiting a whole day for the little low res trailer to download on the dial-up internet.

I still think it would've made a great standalone scifi action romp without the baggage of the huge Alien series dragging it down.
