I'm losing the battle for my own heart.
Life is weird right now. If I "win" but my heart dies, I've lost. But I would snap the neck of the first person in front of me for five more minutes of Heidi lying on me while I played video games. She did not respect personal space and i miss her every day.

When we were walking out of the theater one of the displays showed an employee coding showings in real-time and seeing the backend and email list of a movie theater was pretty interesting. I'm a nerd so I watched and took pictures, I don't think they knew it was showing in the lobby.

The death of traditional masculine physical contact absolutely sucks, and it's even worse because IT'S HISTORICALLY MASCULINE to touch, hug, hold hands and laugh together, and it was taken away due to gay panic. The loss of hugs and physical intimacy among men hurt EVERYONE.

Like, if you've been friends with someone for over a decade, and you say you love each other and say hello and goodbye with long hugs? Green flag. What's wild is that men being physically affectionate is traditionally masculine. Then we erased it out of gay panic and it's done horrible damage

Heidi went on to her reward this afternoon, after we rescued her five years ago.
She had a rough early life, lost most of her teeth before we had her, and was already an adult when we took her in. We were warned she just looked grumpy, but all she wanted to do was cuddle.
Our hearts are broken.

One of my kids walked in, dropped Goodbye, Eri on my bed and said I should read it.
At not point was it what I thought it would be. I want to read it again because I'm still not sure what it was. As a fan of movies and someone fascinated by time and memory?

I found the first image on reddit. The second image is from my time in Iran. I've also been to Egypt. It turns out everything doesn't have a yellow filter and there's a lot of beautiful things in the countries Hollywood decided are yellow.

Hell, in court the judge put it on the record, you can legally say he has a history of sexual assaulting people and it's factually correct. And yet almost no one with a voice does, or is willing to. It's enraging.

This album aged well and horribly. It sounds amazing and the lyrics are surprisingly fun when you take the time to work them out. Not much like it.
