maybe something like a small speed boost the higher your combo is? i think it could be satisfying AND make it all the more emotionally crushing to drop a combo

my idea...: on the end of the stack of boxes (much taller and bendier) there is giant spiky ball so you have to do very sharp turns to make it swing around and kill things
