A small bit of comfort is that this must be frustrating the litigious TERFs - in their statements yesterday they were clearly trying to frame the judgement as an attack on women's rights so they could raise money for an appeal, but now the public think they've already won

While it seems odd for a tribunal decision to be the subject of a BBC live blog, the result of that is something more nuanced than you get in the rush to publish a headline about a 300+ page judgment the instant it appears (although the engagement with the detail is still very thin).

I thought I was done with CDs till I wanted to get hold of a J-pop album after hearing some songs from it performed live. Turned out the only way to *hear* it, let alone own it, was to order a CD from Japan. And the only way to take the music with me was to buy a laptop & CD drive ... so I did
