I used to live/work in Trinidad. Early morning runs were best, the sun just saps your energy. Enjoy - and definitely don’t post running pics alongside tropical beaches and cooling off with a rum punch!

Thanks. Just my old Pixel 3a.

Running shoes first👍

Sorry, just ADHD laziness.

Can I suggest putting your issues to ChatGPT for advice on exercise, nutrition etc. I run 40-50pmw but can’t get rid of tummy fat - ChatGPT made suggestions about varying my runs (hills & sprints) but more importantly sorting out my sleep deficit. ChatGPT might at least give you food for thought

Nice one 👏👏👏. Great to be out running and then have that sense of accomplishment afterwards.

The DCI Tanner series by David Blake. A well written crime series set in Norfolk, good storyline, just the right amount of suspense and a very likeable main character.

Well done. I don’t mind the cold but icy pavements are my bête noir! Tough conditions but a great sense of achievement afterwards 👏👏👏

Definitely still shorts weather. I carry a running pack so I can add, but usually remove, top layers as necessary. I’ve rarely got cold on a run but often overheated!

9 miles on a treadmill deserves an award for perseverance 👏👏👏
December 6, 2025 at 10:22 AM
Cracking on with the miles 👏👏👏.

I listen to audiobooks on every run. Crime fiction mainly, interspersed with history and politics.

Absolutely amazing. I can only manage 30 minutes on a dreadmill!
You definitely deserve cupcakes and coffee 👏👏👏

Yay, well done for getting out. Afternoon sun! We’re jealous!
December 5, 2025 at 9:51 PM
All the best for tomorrow 👍
December 5, 2025 at 7:09 PM
Absolutely it all counts👏👏. And getting out when you don’t really want to, overcoming the ‘easy voice’, is an achievement. And achievements are good for your mental health.

This is my personal maxim

I’ve seen many runners become demotivated because they can’t keep up with a training program. Jo Pavey nails it - do what you can do. None of the ‘no pain, no gain’ nonsense.
December 5, 2025 at 10:59 AM
Definitely chilly with that wind🥶
December 5, 2025 at 8:34 AM
You can do it 👏👏👏👏
