Your Prime Day reminder that half of Amazon warehouse workers struggle with food & housing costs.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.

If Bezos can spend $50M on a wedding, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.

16 million people would lose their health care under the budget plan on Capitol Hill. 338 rural hospitals would close. Millions of children would lose SNAP food assistance — all so billionaires can get a tax break.

Enough is enough.
Senate Republicans propose deeper Medicaid cuts. Here’s what that means.
Senate Republicans are taking Medicaid cuts even further than their House counterparts with legislation that targets hospital payments.

This is what we’re up against: the rich trying to buy public policy. Whether it's Elon offering $1 million to voters in Wisconsin or landlords paying folks to fake grassroots support in Concord, the wealthy are no longer pretending to play fair.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Every safety regulation was written in blood, frequently with a body count higher than one, and it’s not political to put the blame on people who want to “move fast and break things” when they start breaking human lives.
