Research project @ University of Hohenheim and Philipps University of Marburg - Researching the transformation of agricultural and food systems with a focus on biodiversity, combining economics, ecology, and policy perspectives.
Valentin presented his work with LCIA models, and the idea of moving beyond global-average impact factors by using regionalized data. In this approach, country-specific characterization factors are combined with actual trade flows, creating a more realistic picture of the impact of food consumption.
