Made Karla’s Aunt Ginger’s turkey croquettes; mashed potatoes, stuffing, turkey, gravy, and shredded cheese with fresh herbs. Breaded and shallow fried. Served with a dipping sauce made from cranberry sauce and Dijon mustard.

My go-to holiday dessert is a hybrid of banana pudding and icebox cake that is super simple. This one is pumpkin and gingersnap. Not very pretty but pretty delicious.

Made my first from scratch turkey noodle soup from the bones of yesterday’s bird. I am not sure why I didn’t do this sooner. Very easy and incredibly soul satisfying.

Super happy with how it all turned out today but highlights were the super crispy skinned turkey; cherry-mandarin-cranberry sauce; shaved Brussels sprout salad with apples and pecans; and cornbread stuffing.
