BC's unions know an injury to one is an injury to all, and we stand firmly and proudly alongside our province's trans community.

Cynical politicians, clout-chasing influencers and would-be authoritarians alike are using disinformation and fear to advance their agenda, and scapegoating transgender people to do it. We oppose those tactics with everything we have.

We're constantly inspired by the spirit of solidarity we see in the transgender community. And we extend that solidarity today and every day to our trans coworkers, friends, family and neighbours everywhere in BC.

That's especially important today.

A few years ago, the BC NDP brought in a renewed trade certification system. And with today's announcement by Premier @davidebybc.bsky.social, the province is poised to be a national leader in skilled trades training. #BCLab
