I’m disappointed that Shinsuke’s favorite food is tofu burgers. But that’s because I’m not a fan of the tofu I’ve eaten. (Arkt) Can’t decide if Aran enjoys the taste or not. I want him to be grossed out but I kinda feel like he enjoys it. Maybe Aran comes to love it the more he eats them with Shin.

This is an interesting convo I never considered. I don’t use good reads or fable for book recs. I mostly search the tag I want on hoopla and libby then go to the local library catalogs to see if they have it. I have also been to a few bookshops recently and talked at length about my purchase.
I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.

There was an article in The Guardian a few weeks back about how Gen Z find bookshops preferable to online shopping, and a key factor was that an algorithm will offer you 6000 books identical to the one you just finished whereas a bookseller will offer you three that are different but meet the vibe.

Okay I’ve added a list of muted words so I don’t see any spoilers before I get around to reading what heated rivalry is all about. This year I learned that there’s so many hockey BL books 😂 couldn’t tell you a lick about the sport but I know them boys be gay and I be into it 🙂↕️

Had to look up what heated rivalry is. Turns out I have the entire Rachel Reid series saved in hoopla on audiobook. I been meaning to listen to it but Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen BL hockey series’ took priority.
