things get weird w/ AWD where I think it's fine for a luxury car to be mostly fwd, but it better not be fake AWD that only sends a tiny % of torque to the rear even if u floor it

however, I think it's inappropriate for a luxury or sports car 2 be fwd. If ur paying luxury $$, the rear wheels should have power, even if you'll never notice it during normal driving!

imo, fwd is perfectly fine or even desirable for an economy commuter car that will never be driven to the limit
