Made a temp trailer just to see how the music felt with a chill overview of the town.

I think I'll do something similar for one of the two Steam page trailers, but with more care and attention to pacing and angles. Volume may be loud 🎵

Working on the clothing for all of my characters has brought me back to my Animal Crossing GCB days, spending all afternoon after school designing shirts. Good times.

Implemented an animation tree for the npcs now so that they can more easily emote during a conversation.

Updated pause menu. I'll be incorporating a "messages" app, which will serve as a reminder of your upcoming date / location to help players find it. And potentially a "games" app with a simple phone game #indiegamedev

Decided to redesign the pause menu so it'll work better with controller. Using placeholder icons and text boxes, but this should get the idea across. What do you think?

The simulated phone environment was pretty difficult to get working 😅

I wouldn't call it a bug per se... I unintentionally added a reticle to the game. When the pause menu opens, some lines appear out of the phone. I forgot to fade them out on un-pause.

But I think having a little reticle helps the player know where they're pointing. I'll keep it

Little mock for the pause screen. You'll pull the phone out of your pocket and a few widgets will pop up for a map, settings, collectibles, etc.

Want it to but snappy like a P5 menu while staying minimal, but I think this'll diverge into it's own thing.
