I AM HIS FRIEND!!!! Please do not speak to him in such a way. He is loved and valued in his community, a north star that we gaze upon for guidance. I appreciate your attention to this matter.

It has like 5 games and already hit 7 GBs? Wii games even bigger. Nintendo should consider letting users toggle certain games off and on as the library expands.

Which is sad since the levels all designed as a diorama. Perfect for the 3D feature, like you modelled out the levels by yourself.

You have to go to Settings -> System -> Notifications and actions. Can disable the Xbox app outright. Stupid Microsoft!

Doubt any Nintendo games would offer that level of control to the end user. If their first party games require DLSS, then DLSS it will use. Battery life be damned. The effect is good enough (unless contrast heacy room+ high motion) for most people.

This is true but standard for a high performance handheld. Minimum for battery (according to Nintendo) is about 2 hours... my Deck OLED's minimum is pretty close at 2:10. Probably won't get a good battery for S2 until the revision.

Yeah that's where we're at now lol. I'm not happy about it either but the Deck often has to rely on scaling techniques to make up for its meager power. If Switch 2 can get much cleaner results from a similar base performance, it is an advantage.

I'd ignore them. The Switch 2's in a good place between the Deck and ROG Ally with hardware features that let it exceed either at times. DLSS is huge and AMD's FSR4 (which can compete) isn't in a PC handheld quite yet
