Yeah 100%, NOPE does straddle a few different genre conventions which is what makes it great, it's sci-fi, it's a western, it's a horror, it's action.
US and GET OUT both also have Sci-fi elements but are more out and out horror I agree.

Horror doesn't need jump scares, actually horror doesn't even need to be scary at all. NOPE is fuckin terrifying though.
