Of course it was pointless! They were picking up trash for heaven's sake! There was no reason for her to leave home and go to DC just on Trump's whim. Now he's sending 500 more National Guard soldiers to DC. It's the holidays - let them all stay home! There is no emergency - it was a lone gunman.

Unsure — it’s a violation of the Geneva convention, of Maritime Law, and of DOD’s own Law of War manual. There’s a lot of ways this could be prosecuted, unlikely any of them will happen anytime soon, though.
