Oh man, the manufacturer sent me an update, they are pressing my discs today and folding and gluing my Digipak cases. This is so exciting, I haven’t made a physical record in quite some time. And the first EP is out tomorrow!! Booking some podcast appearances to talk about it!!

There was a moment where the distribution system flagged my record as ineligible for Apple Music/iTunes because it “contains AI” (it fucking doesn’t, y’know), and the email I sent them was so excoriatingly, blisteringly furious that they pushed it through manually. As if! I have self-respect haha.

Good thing I paused my cover of this exact song for my new record, they’d have gd scooped me!

Very good set pieces in NTTD! The villain’s plot is stupid and his name is dumb as hell haha, but that chase in the foggy forest, the whole Ana De Armas chunk, the opening bombing sequence are all awesome, and the lair is maybe the best Craig era lair (things which matter to me haha).

Were we not crystal clear that the Craig movies were an entirely new continuity when he met Blofeld for the first time for a third time and now he’s his brother haha? In Dr No, M goes “have you met Leiter before?” Connery’s like “dependsh. Is thish the shame continuity ash Cashino Royale or no?”

The very first movie begins with M chiding Bond about something that happens at the end of THE SECOND MOVIE. Bond meets Blofeld in person, face to face, for the first time two movies in a row haha. You’re telling me Pierce Brosnan was a naval commander during WW2?! No one cares lol.

Michael Biehn, man. The whole cast really, Harris, Mary Elizabeth, Catfish, Hippy, One Night, but Biehn is SO good.
