I've clocked dwell times taking up to 20% of trip time in the past. It's really bad. The city is already paying, so just shift the revenue source elsewhere.

Why I always tell people that a 4k monitor isn't worth it if gaming is the main use. There is a higher cost to upscale to 4k than to 1440p.

@digitalfoundry.bsky.social did a comparison at 1080p, which is likely not what you would be using on a handheld when playing more graphically intensive 3D games, but it's useful to see what kind of uplift you'd get with more power.

The loss of these components should not entirely be seen as a negative, as it gives NY an excuse to replace the outdated reactor with a modern one.

The fact that NYC didn't rezone this for high-density housing years ago is a gigantic policy failure. Some of the property is now being redeveloped for a car dealership! Like what are we doing here.
