American women are not seen as equal. We're seen as under, we're seen as adjunct, we're seen as property. And so oftentimes, when we're talking about healthcare, we have this kind of nuanced belief that we can't trust a woman's body.

I follow @kkjetelina.bsky.social on Substack and enjoy her pieces. Today's advice didn't surprise me because I follow the news. But it gave me pause: We have a government that is not just one whose policies seem wrongheaded. We have a government that is trying to make us sicker. Think about it.

"I have massive concerns with the conservation movement as it is because they're leaving the people part out of it and to be extremely explicit, they're leaving the indigenous people out. You can't protect land from the people that have stewarded it from generations and expel them from it."
