The top tax rate when Labour left power at the end of the 70s was 85%, this is abject nonsense written by people who are annoyed they're going to be taxed sllightly more on their big houses.

Both this & todays "what sort of monster would have a two child benefit cap" routine are the result of these people thinking they're much smarter than us but actually being so incredibly dim that they are forced to percieve us as barely sentient flesh lumps with no object permanence.
