The easiest way to create action lines in a shader is to take some noise and convert its UVs to polar coordinates 🙂

maye being good at game design is mostly the ability to simulate playing a version of a game in your head, allowing you to evaluate more options than you'd have time for if you had to prototype them all.

building out the systems in NewThing much more hygienically than i did in axe ghost, because of how much tracking down bugs in axe ghost kicked my ass. the fundamental difference is that one object in NewThing is the authoritative source of truth for game state. yeah i know😅
