I returned to the theater to see the original theatrical release of Star Wars as many times as I could in 1977. It pleases me that we’ll get a chance to see the original version on the big screen again after 50 years, and I do hope we have an opportunity to own a copy on 4K physical media.

It’s going up against a wave of IP blockbusters and Bob Iger needs to address that they can’t have a repeat of Elio.
It’s why I feel Hollywood and all of the corporate consolidation in the last decade as shifted only to safe IPs and less creative risks.

Meanwhile, Pixar has not rescheduled Gatto out of its June 2027 slot. It has some tough summer competition.
