The. Only. Thing. I can have at the evergreen festival is corn. Lol.

Evergreen Festival train is doing the rounds again this year!

Well, spent my chicken budget on non-chicken glassware and now I’m dropping it off at home before venturing off again (and peeing first, because apparently my kidneys decided to temporarily work again and I am no longer living up to my nickname of The Cactus)

I don’t *need* a blue, green, and periwinkle jellyfish brooch. But boy do I *want* one. There’s also a green one with jangly tentacles.

There’s a toy collector looking at the toys in the same room I’m looking at glass and trinkets, and he picked up a toy and pulled the string and I *immediately* needed a nap.

How many other people had this on their crib when they were a baby?! Omg instant throw-back.

This is…incredible. You could stare at it for hours and still not see every detail.

Also the dusting 😖

I have never in my life seen a teacup and saucer like this.

The black glass swan dish that almost fooled me (it’s actually a 2025 Goth Easter decor item from Michael’s) is still here
November 29, 2025 at 7:17 PM
Also look at this incredible folk art floaty boaty. I want it, but I will resist. For now. I spent most of my budget as soon as I walked in the door (you’ll see later. lol)

Ok, remember the toy butter dish I bought last night? I found some other glass kids’ toys! All of these used to contain candy w a little foil seal. Peel off the seal, eat the candies, then play with your new glass toy. These are about…70 yrs old & all 3 are pristine: boat, fire truck, donkey & cart

Just me n my jam cookies, off on an adventure. I also finally have out my “late fall” jacket instead of just a lightweight wind-breaker. Winter is coming. Hrmpft.

Let’s go wander!

UPDATE: emergency alert cancelled because suspect is in custody.

Did I wait until the coldest day of the fall to wash off my patio furniture, fold it up, and bring it inside? Yes I did. Are my toes and fingers now very cold? Also yes! But now my balcony is Prêt Pour L’Hiver.

If you see him, call 911.

Stay safe out there!

So there you have it. The family photo again arranged by preference from L to R. I’m glad I tried this brand, would definitely try other stuff by them, and found at least 2 (maybe 3) products I would definitely buy a full-size of. I’d call that a win!

The end.

And now the star of the show: the serum. 10% niacinamide is…a lot. This is not for everyone. But you know what? I didn’t have a single zit for the entire bottle. The redness in my cheeks I sometimes get? Never happened. It’s light, non-greasy/oily, smells like the cream. Loved it. Would 100% buy.
November 29, 2025 at 2:04 PM
Next towards the favourite is the cream. This stuff was very light for a cream, and never felt heavy on my skin (or sticky, or greasy, or gooey). I love the scent, too (citrusy, but almost a floral undertone like orange blossom?) and it was a mild scent. I would absolutely buy this as a day cream.
November 29, 2025 at 2:02 PM
Next up: toner. This is my second-least-favourite thing, but I actually liked it. It made my skin feel fresh after using it, and I feel like it did help to even out my skin tone especially on my forehead. Would I buy it? I would strongly consider it.
November 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM
We’ll start with the face cleanser. This stuff was like…glue? Slime? The texture was terrible and I hated it. Then when you added water, it was like it never stopped foaming. If you like this type of face wash, you’d love this stuff. I personally…don’t. I wouldn’t buy the full-size.

Shall we do a Saturday morning mini-product review?! Let’s.

Back in March I bought myself a birthday present at MoonMoon: Korean skincare. This was one of the 2 sets I bought & now every tube is empty!

SomeByMi Yuma Niacin products. There were 4 things in the box: toner, face wash, cream, serum.

Terri Power Art Earring Countdown to December, Day 2!!!

I’m actually really sad this is almost over. Can I get a refill?!?! I should *not* get 84 pairs of new earrings next year but imagine doing this ever month. Best year of my life.

What do we have todaaaaaayyy…JAM COOKIES! TREE JAM COOKIES!!!

Day 23: when I saw this in the calendar I thought “oh. Oh no. Oh that’s terrible” but swatched it’s not as bad (it’s still not great). A baby-pink lip gloss. This one is very lightly pigmented compared to the other 3 we got, so doesn’t lean as far to concealer-lips as I thought it would.

These are all of my Floki Finds over the years. The fish on my middle finger and the new one on my ring finger are his reworked custom pieces, and the rest are vintage finds. The ring on my pinkie finger is, in his words, the most unique ring he’s ever found (and I agree!)

So considering that this was PLAYED WITH by a CHILD, almost 100 years ago (was probably made about 1932), it’s wild it is in pristine condition. It has joined the rest of my antique and nearly-antique butter dishes on my window ledge.

Last but not least, something from Fluffy Bunny that was labelled “miniature butter dish” but that’s not *quite* what it is. It’s a depression glass butter dish TOY. Some glass companies used to make exact replicas of their “regular” glassware in miniature form so kids could play while mom cooked
