Yesterday Russian navy tanker GENERAL SKOBELEV idled by Sweden's border a few hours until a Swedish corvette approached and maneuvered at high speed.
The tanker is often accompanied by proper warships and is at present shadowed by Danish navy leaving Baltic Sea.

Yesterday Russian navy tanker GENERAL SKOBELEV idled by Sweden's border a few hours until a Swedish corvette approached and maneuvered at high speed.

In an area from approximately Bornholm to mid Gulf of Finland hundreds (thousands?) of new AIS-messages suddenly appeared. A large part of them military ships.

Last year YANTAR used her AIS to publish a scare to the Irish people and armed forces when she pinged a few messages on top of their main energy infrastructure, just inside Irish exclusive economic zone (international waters.)

As should be obvious from map these are strategic locations.

Russian air defence is keeping track of when Swedish signals intelligence aircraft S102B Korpen take off from Malmen, Sweden and Russian forces are notified and warned.
Other SIGINT aircraft does not seem to cause this warning to be sent.
