We’re having the house painted. Have gone a few shades lighter. We have a large west facing wall that gets full sun, from midday. On a hot day in the summer, the living area behind the west facing wall is/was like an oven. No longer, it’s transformed from very warm, to cool inside. Awesome!

In other news. If you want to say thanks for stuff on Thanksgiving, but don’t have much to be thankful for. You can use the ‘thanks giving’ I wrote. It’s suitable for all occasions.

I’m seeing lots of posts about leaf blowers, then I remembered it’s autumn in the Northern Hemisphere. Here in New Zealand, leaf blowers are available, but not really a thing. I also recalled that yanks call Autumn, ‘Fall’…
