@audacityofdespair.bsky.social
Dramatist, author, apostate newspaperman specializing in artisanal contempt and discerning maledicta. The claim that I am the angriest man in television is faint praise indeed; the second angriest is yelling at an agent because residual checks are late.
On charging documents yes, of course. In public, they can mask and without personal identity. It is unethical and unprofessional to be sure; there is no law.

My interest is police reform. Not internet sloganeering. So this is an easy block as nothing that matters or will actually change anything can come from your kind.
November 12, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Indeed.
November 12, 2025 at 3:02 PM
Well, you've been touching yourself with every post. That much is clear. But if your interest was actual police reform, you've put your own pleasure ahead of the actual task. Like every other jerk-off spouting this dumb shit.

They're out there, waiting, hungry.

The Empire is on thing. The sun has long set on such.
November 11, 2025 at 10:06 PM
There is no Empire at present. Some commonwealth countries but the sun has set on else.

Nope.

And he will not be again given the wilderness into which he has led the party and his caucus.

Majority-minority. Schumer is a signal failure as a leader in these very hard times. He engineered this collapse in full.
November 11, 2025 at 9:07 PM
And he won't be again given where he has led his party in the Senate. Took all the momentum from an election that should have given Dems the mandate to fight tooth and nail and instead Schumer engineers their collapse.

Thank you for this. And am glad my sudden need to thank Mr. Kennedy found its way. My reread of the trilogy made me love it all the more. Will try to figure out a way to get up the river at some point.

As I used to say to anyone who was sloganeering the abolition of the carceral state: "That will be wonderful and I hope I'm alive to see all the prison doors pulled open. But someone is going to murder someone tonight in the 1200 block of North Durham Street. Or thereabouts."

For them to now be holding themselves up as hands-clean arbiters of public accountability, given their own performance, hinges on a measure of real hypocrisy.
November 10, 2025 at 11:16 PM
Again, I am not offering no EQUIVANCY. You are doing that. I am instead citing the FBI's earlier retreat from accountability as creating a PRECEDENT that encourages others to also deny public information to citizens. If the nation's preeminent police agency shirks this ethic, others will as well.
November 10, 2025 at 11:13 PM
In no way am I suggesting the performance of the FBI, as trained and purposed as they are, is comparable to the thuggery and mission of ICE. I am noting the FBI has itself been complicit in using anonymity to cover its collective ass rather than remain consistently accountable to the public.
November 10, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Regrettably, there is apparently no law that says federal agents have to identify themselves. It was always simply taken as a premise of competent, ethical law enforcement. Which of course means nothing to anyone doing the work of ICE.
November 10, 2025 at 9:30 PM
My point is that while ICE are poorly trained thugs whose anonymity is destructive to the credibility of all law enfrocement, the FBI -- for all its training -- operates within the same sort of anonymity when it comes to its own agents and the use of force. It is unethical there as well.
