reading casting of the runes by m.r james: haha, this evil wizard wants to kill everyone who gave his book a bad review. that's so funny.
getting to the part where someone reaches under his pillow and touches a mouth: oh, that's a new irrational fear unlocked

Jinja hime was a prophetic yokai found in Hizen, modern day Saga, 1819. Scholar Kato Eibian found it on the beach. It delivered a prophecy warning of a cholera outbreak, then slipped back into the sea. Jinja hime's picture is said to bring good health and a long life.

Meet Ruby, our charismatic 10-year-old hornbill! While she can fly, ground hornbills actually spend most of their time walking across their habitat, carefully searching for food. They’re also incredibly vocal, using their bright red wattles to create deep, booming calls that can carry for miles.

when I was a kid I disliked most of adventure time but really liked marceline and bmo. I’d only watch episodes about either of them

Sea moths (eurypegasus draconis) are very strange, very small fish (3"/10cm). They walk on modified pectoral fins, have a bony carapace they shed like an insect and a cute little beak. You can see this one snapping up a small shrimp in the sand. #scuba #marinelife
