The New American Judicial System:
We only need to suspect you of a crime and we can kill you.
And we never need to explain or justify our actions.

How long before this judicial doctrine becomes domestic?

Because the United States Supreme Court chooses to ignore 90 years of precedent to establish and entrench the doctrine of authoritarianism. Pretty soon, no-one will show up to vote in Congressional elections. Congress is pantomime.

So the farmers can get welfare as compensation for a financial burden entirely created by the tRump administration BUT...
Poor people have their benefits cut. Children have their benefits cut. Medicaid for the needy gets cut.
That's called "buying the vote", in my mind.

Yes, those Europeans don't understand that affordability means higher prices for gas and electricity.

French power prices sank to zero as unseasonably warm weather cut demand for heating, while strong wind and nuclear generation flooded the grid.

One thing we can all agree on is that members of the tRump administration will adopt whatever groupthink is appropriate for the moment. These seeming contradictions are not an embarrassment for them. Rather, it's expected of them.
Hegseth epitomizes this behavior.

It's the new American Greatness. Fuck the weak, Fuck the poor. The rich will inherit the earth (while tightly clutching their bibles desperately searching for quotes to placate the downtrodden.)

"The more you suffer on this earth, the richer your reward in Heaven", comes to mind.
WTF!

Tom Cotton went to Harvard Law School. He should go back and read the Posse Comitatus Act signed into law on June 18, 1878 and updated in 1956, 1981 and 2021.

He should be ashamed of himself... but he's not. and the USSC says the President can ignore the law.
WTF America? We're next.

Should be called the piss prize.
December 7, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Well if we can simply allow ourselves to imagine nefarious intentions by looking at someone, it could be that Cotton is planning to rob a bank so we should arrest him, and make him prove himself innocent?
The new American Justice. Kill people you assume are criminals and don't ask questions later.

So no imminent threat, just trying to survive.

These were ALLEGED criminals, presumed innocent until proven guilty, except our glorious and righteous military, unilaterally decides, without due process, to end their lives.

Should we now consider our military to be honorable? Trustworthy?
