I really like the FATE system. If you've come up with D&D or Cthulhu like I did it does take a lot of unlearning to get used to a system that doesn't care that much about math, but it's incredibly versatile and is designed to reward good roleplay. It does take a lot more improvisation to GM though

Unlucky Stars is not a "good" movie per SE but it's extremely fun and you can tell the people who made it had a blast. Rimberg's character is my favorite, a skilled martial artist who can only get cast as henchmen because of his looks
