Snow day adventures

December photo dump. I was sick for like half the month, but we still managed to have some fun. Got away for a few days, rode a train, stayed in a historic hotel complete with a creepy museum in the basement, and celebrated Yule with friends on the Solstice.

Started the new year with a hike and while we were hiking, an enormous tree fell across the only road into and out of the park. I'm taking it as a visual metaphor that this year will present many obstacles but nothing I can't move past... with a little help from a chain saw and some burly men.
