My public playtest version of Fiendcatcher is available on Itch now! If you enjoy unique turn-based combat mechanics and immersive yet silly worldbuilding, I encourage you to give it a try! (Reposting because I need more player feedback)

Final version! This Tower Defense Template demonstrates how the generator can be used with tiles to create procedural layouts for Tower Defense levels with tower defense points, enemy spawn points, a castle to defend, and some scenery! #IndieDev #SoloDev #Unity3d #GameDev #Indie

We now have a Stone Golem enemy in the game with 3 different biome variants!

The project is lacking majorly in enemy types so this is a much needed update. Attack animations are up next! 🪨

Second stage of this template! More details coming together, hopefully getting a little more clear as to what this template could be used for? #indiedev #indie #gamedev #unity3d #solodev

First sneak peak at one of the templates. This is the first working version of this particular template, can you guess what it is at this stage?
#solodev #gamedev #indiedev #indie #unity3d I'll post the next stage of this template later, see if it helps narrow it down 😉

For those of you just seeing my more recent posts, this is the asset I'm referring to! There is an update from this last September, and ideally the next update (with the templates I've completed recently) will be out by early November! #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameDev #Indie #Unity #Unity3d
Simple Dungeon Generator is a tool you can use to make dungeon generation easier. Using either our template generator, or one you customize, you can create procedural dungeons in seconds. The tool works at run-time or can be used to generate prefabs to drop into other places in your projects.

The first of the @kenney.nl Templates coming in the new version, Mini-Dungeon! I don't have any in-progress gifs for this one, just the current working version. Three more templates completed after this one, more updates soon! #IndieDev #SoloDev #GameDev #Indie #Unity3d

I've been working on some improvements to the generator, resolving some outstanding issues and adding some more Kenney based templates as well! I'll post some gifs of those in the coming week, while I work towards putting together a little sizzle reel for it. #indiedev #gamedev #indie #asset#unity3d

Realized I've neglected to update here on the Simple Dungeon Generator asset on the Unity Asset Store. Added a new template, Caves, to the generator mid-September. #indiedev #gamedev #indie #unity3d #unity #asset

It's been an age and a half since I've had to deal with resolving math on floating point numbers... Discovering that Unity handles this with a functions called Maybe.Approximately() really feels like my code is shrugging at me, Eh, Good Enough" 😂

Recently reinstalled the Automate app. I know it has many incredible uses, but my favourite use is making social media harder to access. Sounds a bit counter intuitive, but it makes being present with the people around me much, much easier.

My wall is wrapped. My tree is still naked. Priorities. Bonus picture of the advent calender my wife made for our children.

It's that time of year again. First real tree in over a decade, first one in a house I own with my wife. Tree is naked in the photo, but decorations (both on and off the tree) are planned for the upcoming week.

Been working on the first iteration of a new asset I'll be publishing on the Unity Asset Store once it passes validation. For now, just a sneak peek at the theme of the asset:

First submission to a jam, Trijam #272 called Left or Right. Nothing complicated, missing a lot of QoL features on this one, but hey, it's only a three hour jam. Lots of room for improvement.
