Yeah the framework of the show just kind of has to shrug off these details to keep Starfleet in frame of reference people can mostly understand as a modified version of our known reality. When it logically seems like they could have many millions of officers and every ship be a heavy cruiser

Hamill did a really good job infusing the voice with a level of frustration and being shook as the fight went on, not easy to adjust the joker into that space believably
