Emmie will frequently roll over onto her back. That is an invitation to play, not an invitation for tummy rubs. She always looks like a massive goober while doing it but this one was off the charts.

She also often doesn't lay down delicately like a normal cat. She prefers to just... fall over.

This is fascistic thinking. The idea that there is one group of people who is inherently more special and fancy and precious than everyone else is one of the tenets of fascism. Being neurodivergent doesn't mean you are cooler or specialer than anyone else. Do not fall into this trap!

I don't have any natural talent for crochet, because that's silly. I wasn't born with a hook in my hand. But in high school I was making friendship bracelets when I was bored in class, and in college I learned how to knit, and when I was pregnant with my youngest I learned to crochet.

My younger child is also very into #MakeATerribleComicDay2025. Kid made the first one, then older child was very upset by it, so kid made the second one. And specifically requested that I post both.

Anyway, if anyone is wondering which orange cat had the brain cell last night, it was this criminal. She's the one who figured out how to escape. She is, even now, trying to figure out a way to open the new thumbs-only doorknob.
