Now, yes, Aniplex is owned by a different division of Sony than Crunchyroll (Sony Music vs. Sony Pictures, though Aniplex does partially co-own some part of Crunchyroll), but it really just gives the indication that Banana Fish may be a test bed for what Crunchyroll might do in the future.

Like... movies that looked good in theatres used to still look good on my TV at home, what happened?
Now even SHOWS can't manage that?
