I think Yamper just matches his energy really well! It would've been easy to give him a Herdier or Stoutland (which are also some of my favorite mons) but my guy is walking around with a Solgaleo, I think he's got power covered
Iirc Yamper also gets the Rattled ability, which is a good fit

I have started to look at Solgaleo differently over the past few months and I'm so very glad for it
