I remember Dawning Realization Month for the NFT people too. Think this is going to take much longer because of how wrapped up the whole economy is in this, but it really feels like it's happening.
Anecdotally on twitter seeing a big shift the last few days from every AI slop account saying every other creative field is “over” and they’re in control now to now posting about how nobody likes them and it’s not fair and they’ll persevere and real artists respect and uplift eachother

As always the only way Israel will abide by the ceasefires it has signed on to is if the United States imposes real costs on it for not doing so. Since the IDF is 100% reliant on active support by the US military, the US president is uniquely positioned to impose those costs.

Gaza saw its first major rainfall of the season today. Within minutes, people were submerged and tents holding families and children flooded. This is slow death. There is no justification for why proper shelter that can withstand the elements is not being allowed in.

Weirdly, it’s never occurred to me to put up a video of the tawnies here.😄 Yesterday, one youngster was making its little sleeping noise - a quieter version of its night time feeding squawk. Dad is on the right. Mikey Magpie with the bung wing can be heard in the background, along with noisy miners.
