I experienced a huge loss this year, and the light/time is hitting me hard this year. I imagine in future years it’ll be more related to age, this year it’s inatguable signs of the passage of time.

I’m interested as well! I’ve plenty experience with anxiety, adhd, … but never experienced depression. Some survivors guilt, but distanced and more realted to both of us being super young. One of my health providers mentioned it as a possibility. I’d not thought of it that way prior.

I prefer contract/freelance as a deaf, neurodivergent, and disabled person because it enables me to accommodate myself.

Most comms happen over text formats, my hours are more flexible, generally no expectations about online time.

My accommodations are written into policies. No accomm battles.

I see more development leads in my future, but I’m also open to writing, research, experimenting, testing.

Whether software engineering, design, requirements gathering, disability or accessibility studies.

Might sound broad/indecisive, but I’m truly open to exploring & great at weighing nuance. 🥰

“Never gonna fully heal” is one the hardest things to try to fathom. “Time heals all wounds” just isn’t true, and I wish more people in my life talked about that growing up. Working a lot on that specific piece of acceptance right now.

Ty 💜 It is a very weird experience. Spirograph is an interesting way to think about it. Kind of… inconsistent, but predictable
