Tonight, she is sad because they went and got themselves a “prestigious” bowl game in El Paso, which is multiple flights away, instead of the respectable day-trip game of the Military Bowl in Annapolis.

In the hotel lobby having a burger and fries and a milkshake about my feelings and chatting with some other Spirit fans… and they sit in our section at Audi and recognized us as the folks with the red and yellow cards and who yell “hey ref, that’s a terrible call.”

the situation came up in the most unfortunate time and ended up being the thing many people will point to, which is understandable. just sucks, from a human perspective he did the right thing. from a game management perspective it wasn't the right call. i personally value one more than the other.
