The phone chose to focus on the tree branch coming in from the right, so the clouds are blurry--they are a sweeping, not quite cirrus, not quite something else, curling from lower right to upper left. There are other wisps as well in the blue sky.

My passion fruit seedlings started putting out tendrils. They started to snare a ginger leaf, so I gave them an old asparagus fern skeleton to climb on instead

I took one yesterday and didn't have a chance to post--also mackerel clouds ... but ominous somehow #SkyPortrait
The sky has a band of dark gray at the very top, then gray intersected by lines of golden white to create a pattern that looks like fish scales, with in one section a portion that's almost blue-white (where the sun is), and then, underneath that, a band of similar texture, but with sun rays also faintly visible, streaming down. All this over some snowy rooftops, utility wires, and a street lamp.
