It's an LGBT group and their supporters who play roguelikes, gather on /r/roguelikes, and specific roguelike communities, around related streamers and a publisher.

They use wording like homophobia, transphobia, bigotry, to target harass, and remove people from gaming communities.

Let's move a step back. I want to criticize the LGBT group that attacked me, but I don't want to offend you, because you seem like a reasonable person, and I have nothing against you.

How would you recommend that I do that?
April 16, 2025 at 7:47 PM
Then, how do I name and criticize the organization fighting for LGBT rights so I don't offend LGBT people?
April 16, 2025 at 7:37 PM
BLM was a political movement representing Black people, and the Feminist movement fights for women's rights.

Why can't you admit that LGBT also has a political movement fighting for gay or trans rights?
April 16, 2025 at 7:33 PM
Again, I'm happy to give my honest opinion with some nuance.

But if you can't explain how LGBT people fight for their rights without a political movement that gathers everyone to push for change, then there's no point.

Using these emotional words like bigot is just a deflection of reason.
April 16, 2025 at 7:04 PM
If you concede that LGBT is a political movement and everyone should be allowed to criticize it, I will answer your question honestly.

It makes no sense to continue this discussion if I respond in good faith and you deflect into your narrative. It has to be back and forth on equal footing.
April 16, 2025 at 6:56 PM
Does that mean LGBT is a political movement fighting to receive rights from the government?
April 16, 2025 at 6:44 PM
We can end here since we have arrived at the main issue with the rainbow movement.

You put LGBT people above others and deflect responsibility for any wrongdoing with such privilege. That's an unreasonable position, and it's why there's growing public outrage in response to it.

Consider it.

I can see how such broad-stroke dismissal can be convenient for you, but all you're saying is X allows for more freedom of speech, and Reddit has politically biased moderators that can launch defamation campaigns unchallenged.
April 16, 2025 at 4:37 PM
It is a politically active group, and you realize this because you don't allow detaching people who may take offense from criticism of the actions of a community that may have to correct course.

You make it so all actions made by the LGBT community cannot be contested without receiving harassment.
April 16, 2025 at 4:32 PM
And because you say it, any criticism against a political activist group is considered an attack on identity, hence people with identity are socially allowed to respond with extreme viciousness under personal attack.

Do you see the problem?
April 16, 2025 at 4:26 PM
And I was silenced on Reddit by the mob and moderators, where defamation campain was launched against me. Only because of X I was able to contest that false narrative.
April 16, 2025 at 4:00 PM
LGBT is a shield to protect from criticism. Have you considered why a sitting president of the US can be freely criticized but not the rainbow movement?

As I said before, labeling like "homophobe" is about turning social norms against a target. We don't live in Soviet times, hence labels differ.
April 16, 2025 at 4:00 PM
I bet. You only need to see just 1 of the words meaning "enemy" on your screen to act.
April 16, 2025 at 7:21 AM
It's exactly the same methods, except they can't silence people like me because even if they remove me from Reddit and other moderated spaces, they can't silence me on X.

And I will keep knocking until the walls crumble.
April 16, 2025 at 5:03 AM
You missed the point - they did use "fascist", or "Western agent" to use social norms against enemies of the people. It's what's happening today with words like homophobe or transphobe.

This is the first time I haven't used the T, I believe. It's disappointing how little it takes to see hostility.
April 15, 2025 at 9:51 PM
Likes are public here, and everyone here is afraid to become a target of the rainbow movement.
April 15, 2025 at 8:46 PM
I've criticized the rainbow political movement for actions committed in its name. Since the group has no formal leadership that can be held accountable when bad things happen and doesn't require any accountability, the criticism has to come from outside until things change.
April 14, 2025 at 6:40 PM
You're almost there. I'm not the one hiding behind moderated groups where not everyone may speak; my oppressors are.
April 14, 2025 at 6:36 PM
