Oh 🥲 I hate it when people mischaracterize Gale (in all kinds of media)

- your bard will need a shoulder rest of some kind. If they’re on a pinch, they can put a folded cloth there.
- fiddles and violins are literally the same thing, the difference is on the way you play the instrument.
- experienced bards will only have one finetuner on the E /Mi string

- You can’t realistically keep the violin strapped to your back , it will get out of tune or break (and where would you place the bow? Up your ass? Bards need violin cases.
- rosin for violins is clearer (amber, sometimes a clear red) than rosin for cellos (very dark)
- the bow is stored untensed

- your bard will likely have a callus on the pointer finger in the right hand, right on the joint where it touches the bow
- chunky rings are a no, specially on the thumbs
- the violin must be cleaned from rosin dust after playing or it develops a film and it damages the wood

- hands must be relaxed when playing, if the bard is tense the music will sound different

Yes 😭 I spent months without the kissing facial expression because I didn’t know poses mods had to be in a certain load order, and my disorder caused that specific vanilla expression to disappear hahha now I have kisses, finally because I learned 😂
